HEY I'm a vegetarian and I have been for about 5 years. I'm 17 and probably way more mature, have more morals, and am way fitter than any of you assholes. Just shows you have no compassion for any of the animals that suffer to be put on yall fat asses plates.

I would love to know how you know you are way fitter? I work at a gym as a physical trainer. Don't be so self absorbed. There are plenty of fit people who eat meat.

I'm a vegetarian, but the kind who lets people around me eat meat, make their own choices, etc. Meat eaters aren't evil, neither are we. The thing that bugs me is all the griping and teasing I get from people the second it comes up, as if my choice is a statement about them. I once heard a cook working on my dinner say, "F*ing vegetarians...I wish I could shoot them and grind THEM up for burgers." All I did was order pasta, chill bro!
As for health, the one HUGE benefit is less bad cholesterol, which is exclusive to animal products. And yeah, you probably do eat more veggies when that's all you can pick from.

I didn't make my choice simply for animal cruelty, but more of a realization that our consumption is just not natural and is pretty mindless of the industry, the process of pain and death, exploitative of decent ranchers and farmers trying to earn an honest buck and f***ing CRUEL to the people who do the immense work of killing so we can all live.

my kids are vegetarians and people get REALLY *miffed* at my cause i am willing to cook for them the way they eat. I'm told to sneak meat into their food. Or do horrible things to their food. By people who are suppose to be MY friends. it really pisses me off. Since I dont complain about doing it. And my kids NEVER expect me to change my menu for THEM. i JUST like to cook food the way OTHERS enjoy eating it!

Rude people have whatever is coming to them.
I'll bet the people mentioned in the original posting got sick because of the exposure to animal products... the thought of their painful cries and other noises must have been like a lullaby to you... sleep in heavenly peace...
