I'm sorry for what she did to you as a child, you didn't deserve it and I hope you are making your life better than hers obviously was. I hope this apology helps because you'll probably never get one from her. Drug addicts are very self-absorbed.

I was a drug addict for 17 years. Meth. I was less than the mother I should have been. I've been clean almost 5 yrs now... From me to you and to my son... I'M SORRY. He's 14 now. We're working on our relationship. I hope he learns from my mistakes. ~Disturbed. BTW... the song above is awesome!

5^ I'm a dad with three daughters that I cherish. I have tried to be the best dad anyone could be. I wish you were one of mine, you decerve better. Just listened to your song on You Tube... very nice, you have talent! I'm sorry for your pain and a dad that isn't what he could be, but he has lost more than he'll ever know... God Bless you baby girl.

^Funny! Also Scariest Picture Award! But you know, it portrays parents with drug addictions perfectly, that's how scary it is for a child to live with a parent on drugs.-S

Reminds me of my ex-girl friend after she got knocked up while on a crack binge. She smoked crack all through the pregnacy and afterward left the baby with her mom. I suppose that was a good thing since it appears she loves the crack much more than she will ever love that kid.

She isn't ashamed, she is oblivious. My mother and I havent' seen each other in 22 years (i'm 27) When I asked her via the phone 5 years ago why she chose drugs over her daughter she said it was never a choice she was given. I was there. I heard the conversation. She is so self absorbed, she truly thinks she has been the victim all her life. I let her go on thinking that and live my own life, in spite, every day.. It's working quite well.
