You did what was required of you by a nation that has its freedom because of the service men and woman.We owe you and the rest of them a great deal. I always thought if I where president and you served your country in a hostile emviroment you would only have to pay 1/2 tax on everything..and if you where wounded in battle..no tax...And remember ..it was you going home not the enemy..God Bless...God Speed..

Actually, praying for those you killed is pointless. Maybe praying for their survivors would make more sense. For others contemplating the military, there are always options, like serving in a non-combatant role.

Wish I could reach out and give you a huge hug.You did what our country asked and trained you to do. It wasn't your idea. People realize that. I hate war. I hate what it does to people. And I pray that you really are not nearing your final days on earth. Please know how proud we are of you and your service. And know that we know you just did what you were told to do. This has messed up so many men and women. And it continues today over in the Middle East. Wish I could touch your heart and really talk to you. I lost several good friends in Viet Nam and recently lost a Viet Nam survivor....but his life was never the same. God bless you.
