It's not just violence from men that you are inviting into their lives. You are allowing them to think they don't deserve any dreams to come true in thier lives. Its been 3 days since he left. My daughters have been sent to their grandparents house for a couple of weeks. I thought I was trapped. Got out twice before, but he always found me. He left this time. I haven't cried yet. I feel instantly relieved. I miss my babies though.

staying or going - the damage has probably already been done. the best you can do for them at this point is a little damage control - assume they've been negatively affected and get them some therapy. and some for yourself while you're at it.
