I found my cat had an infection only after we started treating it. Things often progress so slowly you only see it after its fixed. Dont blame yourself, continue trying to be a good parent. Even if its to the next pet!

Thanks guys. I still feel bad. He was my buddy, and I do have new cat, her name is Diva. I raised Mr Jinx from a kitten. He was 5 when he died.

To the person who said he was awesome, thanks, he was. He followed me everywhere, he knew when I was sick or upset and would rest his head on my shoulder until I felt better. He was a brat though, he loved Kody, my sister's German Shepherd.
