When the cop shot you dead, I was in denial. When realization came that you were killed because you're an a** ****, I started to heal. But I'm still sad..

I hope the storm clouds part for you soon. It's okay to be sad, so long as you are sad for the right reasons, and for the right people in this situation.

Why was he in trouble with the law? Did he try to kill the Officer?

That sucks and I'm sorry that you've had to go through that. I found myself in a kind of similar situation a couple of years ago. After my husband died, I slowly began to realize that had been a terrible and selfish person who treated everyone around him like shit. It's hard to face the truth, after living in denial and making excuses for someone for so many years, but it's also very liberating. It's completely normal to feel sad, but you will heal, and you will slowly but surely get your SELF back and your life back. Keep going. You are stronger than you know. ((((hugs))))

That sucks but would you have figured it out eventually?

^Um...yes. She IS figuring it out. That's kind of the point of the post. Pay attention.

Our friend's man was shot and killed by the police for the very same reasons. Sadly, now she is going to sue the police rather than give them a medal.

2 up. Uh, yes, I AM paying attention, thank you. The guy had to get killed by the police before she figured out he was a asshole. So there was some denial before, yes? The reason I bothered to say anything is what about next time? It's like the women on Cops all bloody and beat up and crying and refusing to press charges. It's so sad and stupid they can't see it coming?

^Sure, blame the victim. Classy. You're classy.

2 up. Yes, it really does help to tell someone that they are blind and stupid, after the fact. Good show!!!!! You. Are. So. Cool.

Never once was I bloody or bruised, but he was an asshole none the less. And sadly that comes from a disease called bi-polar disorder. He didn't control it properly so it controlled him. That and alcohol caused his death. I'm too independent to take anyone's abuse, but felt sorry enough for him to try to "help". Now he's dead and right now, this minute, I'm glad...
