Maybe all the efforts are filling a need that was not met in this "savior's" life. If this daughter is still a minor, it maynot all be for naught. If this young lady is grown and demanding support, it is good that your friend has you there for encouragement.

I can understand your thoughts...however, they is probably doing the right thing for themselves and the daughter...sometimes children take advantage of their parents...I am that parent at times...its worth it.

Holy Crap! I wish someone had told me what the future would hold for me and my daughter. She is a useless sponge who turned her back on her family when the 'perks' ran out. Sickening, but we are better off for her deciding to leave.
