Sometimes the only way the heart/mind can cope w/a devestating loss is to continue to 'feel' them around. It can be very real to the person. Even dreams of them seem real. It's a coping thing. Like when people lose a beloved pet of many years, and for a while, think they still 'hear' them or see them in a favorite spot they had. Same thing...until they can accept it

My ex-boyfriend, and very best friend, passed away a year and a half ago. I still feel him and sometimes, I can even see him standing beside me. Like a passing face in a crowded subway, a quick glance and then he's gone again. But I know, he's always there.
