Its best not to worry too much. Life is short, so we should enjoy it. If there are things that we do that we don't like, then we should take small steps to fix them. Growing up takes a lifetime. All of us cause others undeserved pain. We would all like to cause less pain and we should not be judgmental when we see "flaws" in others, but as time goes by we will be better if we commit to being such.

Were you molested? I used to work in a therapy/school for girls and that was usually the case. If you want to stop and prevent yourself from getting a disease, go to counseling and find a good church (watch Joel Osteen or Joyce Meyers on tv if you are too embarassed). Call the prayer lists and ask for prayer, they are free and there are lots of them. And please go get tested for STDs, about 1/2 to 3/4 of people have Herpes and CONDOMS DO NOT PROTECT against herpes. Additionally, herpes can get inside your vagina so that you cannot have vaginal birth and if you do, it can cause your child to be blind, have brain damage from the virus, or die.

i understand completely. I have this thing in me that always made me turn to sex as an outlet. yes i was molested when I was small and once I realized that that was not my fault nor was it the only way to get people to like you i was able to commit to my wonderful husband. OP, I know how you feel. It has taken a long time to understand the "why" of why I do it. It is a control/power issue for me - I like knowing I can make him/them want me. Which all comes back around to self esteem. Haven't stopped but I'm getting there.
