I love salt. I eat salt on everything, even ice cream! I take high b/p meds and yet I can't stop eating salt! I quit drugs and drinking. Why is salt so hard?

People with high blood pressure tend to crave salt. Also people on diuretics crave salt to replenish the loss through urine. There's a lot of people that like salt.

I've always loved salt and have perfect BP. I used to sneak a taste of the salt lick before I put it out for the rabbits, or cows, or horses. I would've been as happy as a kid with a jawbreaker if I had my own salt lick. Unfortnately salt is in everything so avoidance is difficult.
