It's a shame to see so many secrets that mirror my own. our relationships(and really thing around us) are a mirror image of ourselves. I lost the lady of my dreams because my life was a nightmare. I thought she had the time to understand and help me out of it. She was so busy - I always felt left out. I was left out, and us being 2 hours away did not help.(i lacked a car) I had lost hope and amibtion. SHe fell in love with my passion for life, food, music. But she - like with everyone of her relationships - seemed be finding me at the time where i began to fall into a pit of loneliness, tired, bored and moody. our end left me with a few choices. A. I could go dashing after her...but i have no savings. I would be more of a burdenB. live in a bottle, and fast (did that. yes I know... pathetic)C. Leave her alone and pick up the pieces of my shattered life, repair years and years of rejection( even pre woman of dreams), and be the really great guy that I am.I am scared to lose anymore than I already have

OP here: To the post that wanted to hear my idea of what a real man is: A real man is one that makes sure you are safe. A real man knows how to make me smile. A real man doesnt want anything from me except loyalty. A real man doesnt NEED a woman but wants her. A real man is trustworthy. These qualities can be applied to a real woman as well.

OP here again: I posted this to give other women hope that there is life out there. If I had believed him, I would still be on the same depressive treadmill of my old life. Instead, my life did a complete 180. I have never been this happy! The stupid comments mean nothing. Just someone with no life who is bored.

Im so sick of this opinion. Woman complete men whether they want to addmit it or not. it doesnt have to be a finacial compliment, but on a soul level woman are more important to men than they will ever know. When did you take time you make him smile. never .. you just lived in some movie fantasy. ^^ you think you know me enough to say that "too many men have run me over"? I am not insecure. It was HIS jealousy that finally pushed me over the edge. You obviously think you know more about relationships than you actually do. MY man wants to be the breadwinner and to provide. He has SAID these words. And yes,, I was the real woman I described above. he pretended to have these quialities, but I soon saw through to the real him. He was eventually very cruel to me. It had to end.

Maybe this guy finally noticed that he shouldnt have to be the breadwinner for you, your child , and your parent when you treated him with such cruelty and manipulation.. Maybe it was you who was who put up the front.
