^^my aunt tell's me all the time "are you stoned right now? how come you don't look stoned right now? i always look like i'm high when i smoke". and it's the truth....i reason that having spent most of my waking life of stoned people don't have a sober baseline of me to compare it to. i also do a very technical job (medical billing)and year and after year get promoted for my excellent work! i suppose if i walked around looking grungy and saying stuff like "hey dude, sup?" people would perceive me differently. well coiffed hair and pearls can apparently do a lot for a girl. it's crazy how people think they know someone by the image that is presented to them. they are sheep.

Contrary to popular belief, weed is addictive. The government tells us alcohol is okay and weed is not, that is wrong, neither are okay, both are only ways to medicate or alter your being. ^it's not that i want to get a pot leaf tattooed on my forehead. i am fine with how people perceive me, but whether i like it or not for some reason when people find out that you smoke they start to judge you for it. and your right, i shouldn't care what other people think. i just want marijuana legalized so i can stop being seen as a criminal in the eyes of society. if i could buy weed at the grocery store and pay sales tax i would be in heaven :)

^and i don't just want it legalized for myself, my mother died recently of a bowel obstruction caused by the excessive amounts of opiates she was LEGALLY PRESCRIBED for her pain (she had pancreatic cancer), and you know what? she wouldn't even try weed because it was illegal and she did not want her loved ones risking their safety trying to purchase it from drug dealers.....she couldn't even eat because she was so pilled out half the time she didn't know what day it was. one day i made a special muffin for breakfast and gave it to her before she had taken her meds. lets just say she was calm, at peace, had an increased appetite and took 1/3 as much pain medication that day because she felt so much better....she died later that week, i miss her so much!

Also, all the arguments as to why it is illegal are just part of the scam to make you believe that you are somehow rebelling against the gov. It's more enticing when it is illegal and that conveniently sedates all those who operate under the notion that they are "sticking it to the man". The truth is that the gov controls most if not all of it. All of it that is "confiscated" in busts goes right back out into the system and they make even more money off of it and sedate even more slaves. Some argue that it costs them more to arrest and house prisoners, but that is a lie too and on top of it, the prisoners get it easily while incarcerated. Seriously, if you took a year off from being high and functioning under your optimal thinking capacity you would be able to see this for what it is, objectively. When you smoke, you lose ALL objectivity because you need it, you want it and you will justify your use any way you can because you are a desperate slave to it and to the government.

I smoked for a little over 20 years. I did everything in life I set out to do and then some. I made money hand over fist and got married, raised kids and owned many homes. I don't smoke anymore because I got sick and had to quit. I miss the fun times but I value my lungs more than anything these days. Still, I believe it's everyone's right to smoke if they want!
