Love and hate are opposote sides of the same coin. You can only hate someone as much as you love them. It's when you're become indifferent that you truly have let them go. ^All of those opposite and conflicting emotions that we experience help to shape our character and build internal strength. If all we ever experienced was the good or bad we would be very unbalanced. I think that when you have loved and then experienced the pain of loss, you value the love that much more. Just one of life's lessons that eventually we all will experience. Hopefully with the lessons will come the wisdom to continually do better in the future.
