^WHAT!? It's not that complicated! Some of us have been hurt and want to watch and see, so give her something concrete, something that shows your love other than words. It could be as simple as bringing her flowers, firewood, a new book, cd, cup of coffee you know she will like, Write a sweet note, sweet sappy stuff is not ancient history. Make up some romance!

Well, Turtle is obviously wanting to prove your love to him. Chances are, even he doesn't know how he wants you to prove it. It could be from him being hurt in a previous relationship, or a hard life, but either way, I would recommend you take some time off from each other and I'll bet he'll come around cuz "Absence makes the heart grow fonder!"
