It's people like you that feel "Trust" is an "ON-OFF" switch. It's either 100% or nothing at all. You think if you can't trust for one thing, you can't trust for anything. See, that's nothing but a way to control the people around you. It's nice when you don't trust anyone, then you have people who love you trying their best to fix the trust and wanting to do anything for you to trust them. Your friends, your parents, your spouse. It's really one of the best control tools. Learn diplomacy, learn that life has "grey" matter and it's not all black and white. Learn that you can never trust anyone 100% and live with it, deal with it.

when we are little, we trust without question until the world takes that away. Then we learn to let others earn our trust by doing what they say they will do and being who they say they are. Sometimes though, we feel like children again around a particular person, and we trust without question. tragic really.
