I totally know how you feel, if i had an unlimited supply of Oxycontin i would be taking it everyday untill i died. that being said, Oxycontin is one hell of a harsh mistress and must be treated with the utmost respect. Once youre under her spell its hard to break, but not impossible if you slowly take less and less. Oxycontin has been my mistress for almost 3 years now, and we have never been closer.

I wish I could take less, I started not knowing they were addicting (a LONG time ago) and now I am f***ed. The REALLY sad part is that I dont really want to stop.

I abused Oxys for a few years-I started with a little 10mg sliver at first just for kicks, not knowing how addictive they are. Then eventually snorting about 4 to 5 80's a day at the end. But I kicked it on my own. No help. The withdrawals were horrible..ugly dopesickness. I often wonder how I never ODd. Not to preach, but if you really want to quit, you can. But truth be told-- I still think about being high on them quite often. Lovely buzz....

What are you scared of? Dying or having that drug screw up your life? Are you afraid it will destroy you? But you say you don't want to quit 6 posts up... You don't want to quit but your scared as hell....that's addiction talk, it's senseless. You need to realize that and then you can begin to seperate yourself from the addiction. Follow others advise and systematically reduce your intake. Start cutting back, find something else to do besides thinking about oxy. Cook, bake, jog, walk, tennis, swim, ride a bike, paint anything to occupy your thoughts. Days will seem like weeks at first...but that is a sign you are winning the battle. Be strong, you can do it.
