I knew a navy veteran who lectured me sanctimoniously that because I told the truth and followed rules, I lacked "honor". HIS version of "honor" was personal loyalty above all, even if it meant lying, cheating, covering up and doing anything and everything to members OUTSIDE the Navy/Corp to protect those INSIDE.
