I feel the same way, got a dog, that helps. I would rather be alone than settle though. I think a lot of people settle. I only want to get married once.

look I'm going to be 39 and been waiting for the right one all this time, now i've been told all i ever will have is a cat and some plants. settle while you can, i think i missed out, don't make my mistake, i am going to be lonely. the older you get the harder to find someone i guess. good luck

Just remember there is nobody who is perfect. Relationships are VERY difficult...it's really a struggle to stay together sometimtes I want think about being alone.

Oh please, you're still young. I'm 36, single, and never been married. And I'm okay if I never get to walk down the aisle in this lifetime. I surround myself with great friends, I date different people, I have a dream job, I've traveled to exotic places, and can come and go as I please. Never been happier :D
