Don't forget to call her when you need some money.

Don't sneak out. You are 30! Let her be a part of the process. Your relationship with your mother will be so much better once you leave. You will then be able to be her friend, it's an amazing transition, one that you will treasure.

Send her a letter that will arrive just after you've left or else the 24 hour news channels will be doing half of their programming interviewing neighbors and talking to "experts" speculating your fate and wherabouts. Unless you want the attention.

You've reached adulthood! I've always said we are only apprentice adults until 32, some a little sooner, some a little later. Good luck! Don't forget mom, but live your own life.

If you are 30, it's really way past time to grow up and move out and stop blaming mom.

Make sure you are in her good graces, you don't want to be left out of her will.

I'm about your age and doing the same thing. I don't live w/my parents just a litle too close. Sometimes distance can improve relationships. I'm putting myself/my feelings first for a change.

Now if your Mom could just come to my place and get my 30 year old daughter to leave home, I'd be grateful! Thanks.
