I realized yesterday that I'm crazy about my best female friend, but it would ruin an awesome friendship to say anything to her about it.

imo ~ you must be friends first, then lovers. we were, and are still madly in love twenty years later. perhaps she is thinking along the same lines as yourself? approach the subject with her ~ and best of luck to you!

Tough situation. However, if you never say anything, you may regret it the rest of your life.

I am a male and gtold my BFF that I loved her six years ago. She did not feel the same and things were awkward for a bit. She is still my best friend because the glue that made us friends always held.

You probably have lots of friends. Isn't it worth possibly ruining one for true love? I think so.

My friendship is being ruined right now. An eight year friendship. He has an attitude and won't talk about it because I started seeing someone. I help him find women to date! Wtf! I'm tired of him acting like he ever had a chance. We have never been romantic and I have told him I don't feel that way. I am pissed at him right now. What I am getting at is this. Ask her, show her and then let it go. Don't push the issue. The spark is either there or it's not, but it's not fair to give someone a guilt trip over things they have no control over.

be carful with this one, she may feel the same and if so, it'll be great for you both. but if her friendship isn't as you think it is can you handle loosing what you have??? i fell in-love with my bff or so i thought he was my bff but everything changed when i told him exactly how i felt, he's no longer my friend. it hurts, it hurts real bad and time doesn't change that. i don't know what hurts more, that he didn't feel the same or that his friendship was never realy true. good luck and be true to you!

this is ^, just had to add i agree with 2^ NOONE HAS CONTROL OVER THEIR HEART, WHAT THEY FEEL AND WHAT THEY DON'T. IT'S EITHER THERE OR IT'S NOT. YOU CAN'T GET MAD IF SHE DOESN'T FEEL THE SAME, SHE CAN'T MAKE HER HEART FELL SOMETHING IT DOESN'T. if she doesn't but still wants to be your bff, can you handle that???? i've lost 2 close male friends in my life. 1 i was friensd with for 15yrs, he thought time would change how i felt twards him, that i'd fall in-love, but it didn't and i'm not the type to fake it or pretend and i wouldn't, i couldn't but still wanted to be friends but he couldn't handle it and it's been 11yrs since we've talked ( yes 15yrs plotonic)

^YES! 8 years here, I can't beleive he has ruined the friendship. Gave me an ultimatum. Wants to be F* buddies or nothing. So I guess it's nothing. I am sick to my stomach over this. What was he doing for 8 years? Jerking off? I am so sick, I can't even think about our friendship without getting nauseous now. It's complete B.S.! DISGUSTING MEN!

^ nauseous, i know the feeling, after telling the one who was sopposed to be my bestfriend that i was inlove everything changed!!! i could of handled the feelings not being returned but that the friendship wasen't real to begin with was the hardest thing i've ever had to go through and i've been through some jungles and deserts in life!

That's life as a man, dude. Many women do not recognize the treasure that is right in front of them.

Women are like tater chips, there will always be more. Keep your friends, friends and screw the rest of the skanks...........its cheaper that way. All they do is cheat on you with the milk-man anyways.

I'm a guy. I don't guess I realized my photo needed to be gender specific to convey how I feel about this girl.
