my heart goes out to you, i've been here except i'm the mom and no i didn't stay with him instead i had him locked up and he's still there with no paroll, he'll probably die there! i don't understand how a mother could stay but one of my bestfriends was exactly where you are. her mother wasen't a very strong person,she had a hard time believing that the man she loved would hurt the daughter she loved. eventually they parted and my friend lived with her mother ( she loved her mother very much ) i know your hurting but i'm sure she is as well maybe even more, remember this envolves the man she loves/loved and her daughter who she loves! it's not as easy as you think, even though i had him taken out of my house in hand cuff the day i found out it wasen't easy! though i didn't want to be with him him and had been trying to get him to leave, that didn't make it any easier either. everyone has their oppinion and how they just insist you do what they think you should noone truly know how they will respond untill your actualy in it yourself. a bit of advice from a mother to a daughter even if it's not her daughter... the 1st step to healing is forgiveness. even if you have to forgive a hundred times a day DO IT not for her or him but FOR YOU you have to heal in order to have a healthy life.

^ yes, who the hell wants to beleive that their married to the devil?? ^^ i have and it's scary but unless you move to the middle of no where, unfortunately yougoing to see them every where and for as many as you see there are that and more that you don't. i've worked with the elderly on and off for over 15yrs and you'd be surprised at how many were actualy betrayed by their fathers, these are wemon in their 80's and 90's. it's been happening far longer then people think it's just now comming out and people acknowledging it. sadly though it's usally someone who's related or someone who you'd never think of, like someone everyone respects. usally not always the perp is disgusted with themselves and in denial as well. the perp needs more mental help then the one betrayed though i don't beleive there is any help you can give them but the one who's been betrayed better get help right away, most end up being the perp later on.. vicious cycle

^ true, i'll agree with that BUT take it from a mother of 7 daughters which 5 have been exposed to it in some form or another and none of what you are implying! though i wish it was!!!! the sad thing is that growing up a state troopre who lived in the neihborhood was perptrating on the girls in the neighborhood and noone was the wiser so having daughters i've raised them since very small what good and bad touch was and it still happened and you know the thing that hurts the worst is that they didn't speak up when it happened cause they didn't want to hurt me!!!! ( yes both men who assulted my daughters are locked up !!!!! and yes it was family)

to the person who is insisting that molestation by a child of the same age isn't molestation you are wrong. if a person forces another person to partake in a sexual act that is wrong regardless of age. the real issue is little kids should not have sexual aggression towards other children. it is a behavior that will only get worse with time and they will eventually become a sexual predators! if my kid was molesting another child i would want to know so i could get them the help they needed.
