OP* I didn't say I want to pretend to be one now. I have a guy's body. A pretty good looking one, I've been told. I go to the gym, play sports, wear guy's clothes, date girls, and I'm not attracted to men. But all of this is because I have to be this way, because I know it doesn't really work to do the whole surgery or even cross-dressing thing. Girls' clothes are made for girls' bodies, and so on. There's no way to get myself there on the outside. But it's always what I've been on the inside (as my 5 gigabyte folder filled with pictures of jewelry and dresses can perhaps attest). I don't want to be halfway, and I don't want to be an outcast. But that's what I want.

If nothing else, you should talk to someone about these feelings. There are a few lists of gender therapists on the web. Find out if the therapist is a member of WPATH. Good luck.

You're not as much of an outcast as you think. I know nothing anybody can say that will make you think differently, but I would recommend you start hanging out with more open-minded friends to help you find yourself better. It sounds like your kinda confined right now.

Most of you don't get it. He's a man, all man. Doesn't want to become a woman. But to have been born a girl, always been female. Being a man is one dimensional. Not really a lot of choices. Women can do and be anything. I seems to me a vastly more interesting path to travel.
