i think its sad that women are being repressed by society when it comes to being a full time mom. women are expected to have a full time job, keep the house clean and raise the kids and they make it look so easy. and we wonder why over 50% of marriages fail?! there is a reason why life was better in so many ways when women stayed at home and raised their own children...it was less stressful for women which makes them better wives and mothers. when my husband and i decided to have kids we knew that i would stay home to care for them, i also chose a career which was flexable because i knew one day my priorities would shift when i became a mom. and this pertains to stay at home dads as well! our children deserve more than being dropped off at daycare 40 hours a week!!!

I am the woman who wanted to be that stay at home wife, raise the kids, bake the cookies, plan the vacations, take care of the home, PTA, and wear Keds. My kids are grown, I still work full-time, still never married, finally bought some damn Keds. :) Sometimes you just have to do what you can to find happiness on a different level.

that was always my dream to be the one raising my kids and though i am i'm still forced to take on another job because the other half of my dream was nothing that i exspected. at least when i'm away the older ones are the ones who care for the little ones. you'd be surprised at how many so called jobs i lost due to putting my kids first, they are my first and for most # 1 job and untill thats complete i guess i might as well get use to new jobs. the world we live in has no mercy on single moms. you can't have two first priorities it's either your job or your kids. and as far as i can see jobs can be replaced!

^whats really funny is i submitted a secret saying all i wanted was to stay home, cook clean and have a baby and the WOMEN on this site went apeShIt like i was some user loser who didn't want to have to support myself! yet a man submits the same post and everyone thinks he is a such a good guy...talk about a double edged sword. we women are our own worst enemy....the feminism movement has gotten totally out of control! it should be okay to WANT to stay home and be a full time mom but in today's society it is not. and look at what's happening to our kids because of it :(

I worked full time since college. Had my children at 30 and 33 then stayed home to raise them. When I decided to go back to work cause they were in 6th and 8th grade my husband asked me to stay home til they were older cause he said they still needed me home. The oldest is 20, in college and still at home and the other one is 16 now. Im ready to get back out in the work force but if my husband had his way I would always be at home. He pays me nicely to stay home.

This is hard for me to believe is a legit person wanting this especially a man...not because I am unhappy but because I have NEVER in my experience on this earth met a man who Wanted a stay at home wife and babies as in plural as in many. I also have never met a man who didn't cheat. trust that I have experienced much things in my life but not these :/ Also I think once he gets this he will want again what he doens't have like 99% of people...always wanting something they don't have, it's what this world we live in now was founded on. I am a stay at home wife raising two babies actually and we LOVE it...just some info for ya ;) PEace

I like staying at homw with my kids because I like being the primary influence on them. No outside presence is available to disrupt there pure minds from growing how the creator intendewd....Free mind growth away from the programming of the world. Please donot misinterpret mypost, my children do view art, listen and play music, watch movies occasionally, play at the park with toher children etc... they are totally social beings but just free from the dogma we were rasied on.

Geeze buddy. . Find a girl that's decent with old fashion values! You can be happy married as long as you don't cheat or treat each other bad. There's plenty of women out there that would love to stay home and be a stay at home wife and mother! I'm one of them! It's just hard to do that when my husband doesn't make enough money anymore. I'll probably have to go back to work if I can even find a job. I just want to stay home cooking and baking and cleaning!

You will find a woman like this, just don't pass on her by how she looks. Not to say that she has to be ugly, just not high maintenance. If they are bleached blonde have nails done ect... they may not have time for anyone else. I used to go through all that for my job, but it's not worth how much time it takes or how shallow it is. I never attracted a worthy man like that. Now that I dress and feel more like myself, more natural, I have met more decent people that are seeking relationships.
