Why don't you just communicate with the person for real. The worst they can do is tell you they are not interested. At least that way you will have some closure, and can hopefully move on. In the meantime find other things besides the computer to occupy your time. It is an addiction that can be broken very quickly if you really want to stop. Good luck to you.

maybe she doesn't think she is communicating with him, maybe she is just saying it here because she is afraid to say it to him. Maybe this is just an outlet for her fears and mistrust. Maybe she knows in some ways it is unfounded but she cannot stop the anxiety she feels and searching the web helps calm the fears.
