^it's called anoniminity. And for the OP: Although it sounds like a good idea (cuz I had the same kinda wife myself and thought about doing that), really, what would you do with it afterwards? Play the recording to your friends/family? It's just you trying to get justification to leave her...which you already have. Just leave. People will believe that she's a bad person when you leave and she spits her last venom on you around other people. They'll see it first hand and make their own feelings towards her.

This is an easy one. You say this: "TALKING TO ME LIKE THAT IS COMPLETLY UNACCEPTABLE..WHEN YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME WITH IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER...THEN WE CAN TALK." Then WALK away. Repeat this like a BROKEN RECORD until she gets it. ANYTIME she launches into her crap... YOU REPEAT THIS. Guess what..it works. My wife did the same thing...for the first 6 months AFTER we got married. She learned to hold it in and talk kindly. Guess what..it built up and she left because she couldnt control how she talked to me. So she left. She is alone and fat. Mean while I met a HOT lady that I am in love with who talks and treats me with the same respect and kindess I offer her. It is all about boundaries. If she cant mantain them..she will leave. And that is ok. In the MEAN time...YOU...can keep drawing that line of what is UNACCEPTABLE to you..and KEEP your sanity if you are unable to leave for monetary or kid reasons.

This is the OP. To all of you who have assumed I am a whimp and have no spine or you have taken the approach that I need to speak up and talk back, or to those of you who feel dumping and running is the answer...your all wrong. I am tired of telling her to knock the crap off. (I get a smart ass responce) I'm tired of telling her to quit talking to me like I'm her kid, cause I get a smart ass responce. I'm tired of getting pissed, I'm tired of snapping back. I'm a mellow and go with the flow kinda guy. But I can stick up for myself, I'm just tired of having to do it, time after time..day after day. It's "She's right, I'm wrong" so to her it's no matter what I say...then I'll have to put up with the same kinda crap again in a day or two. I want somebody to be able to hear this crap. My close friends think I exagerate when I get it off my chest. My sis thinks it can't be like that...but it is...my wife is competative. No one can do anything better than her, or have an idea better than hers. She never admits when she is wrong. She gets pissed at me for being pissed at her!! and she is more pissed of at me for being pissed at her than I am at her! No one can understand that. I want others to hear it, to know it. Trust me, my day is coming. I will have my vengance.
