For the OP. Are you sure people aren't evil and mean to your face? It's called blowing off steam. People freakin suck, I would never tell someone the things that are said to me. Can't come back because I am at work and need to be professional. I can sure blow off the tension here. There is always some cheater that gets some residual anger I have for an ex. Or chubby haters that remind me of highschool, ect. Where do you live where everyone is so nice? I would rather be nice, and I am, but I don't think I should have to hold back here. It's anonymous, and nobody but you takes it as serious as real life.

I second the cheers to the OP. The fact that people would "blow off steam" by being cruel to others is indeed nauseating. It's not as though people are making witty comments to warrant the comments to "lighten up" and "get a sense of humor", either - it's just flat out mean. I'm glad I am not the only one bothered by this.

It IS remarkable that when someone posts encouraging comments, certain others jump on them. However, considering the nature of this site, many if not most of the participants are the same mean spirited types that take joy in watching Jerry Springish programs. With so little about themselves on which to base genuine self esteem, it allows them to feel superior to SOMEONE.
