I know an ADA in a county with two small cities. He says that virtually 100% of the crimes are alcohol and drug related. Not suggesting that we bring back the Volstead Act, but calling alcohol a "solution" is only correct in that it IS a solvent - dissolves careers, marriages, families, etc.
