Animals live such a short life because life is about learning how to love. They have a headstart on all of us because they are capable of unconditional and undying love. She can't hurt now, she can never be sick. She's in a better place waiting for you.

pets become part of us and their loss makes us grieve. this is a normal process... let it run its course for as long as it takes ... then consider another pet.

Losing a pet is very tough. I was in a similar situation about 10 yrs ago and had to make the same decision. Just realize that you made the best decision you could make with the resources you had available. Get another kitty, too!

she never said she couldnt afford it! she put it down because it was sick. i wish more people would refrain from putting their pets thru treatments like chemo and hip replacements. its just more suffering for the pet. pets arent people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
