Every religion is just an excuse to feel better about death. Christians are the worst back stabbing a** ****s ever to exist. I would know. They put me in a private christian school for 13 damn years. Try Buddhist. At least they're peaceful and set themselves on fire in protest unlike Christians who come and shoot you in your back. Why the back? My Grandma was 100 percent Christian. She lived her life as one to the fullest. You would never meet a finer woman . I'm sure she went wherever her religion told her she would go. Everyone else can go straight to Hell.

3^ Hey OP, I hope you find whatever makes you feel right and peaceful...unlike 4^ who says anyone who's not a Christian can go to hell. I know I can't blame you for not being happy with that kinda mentality. That's why I found no religion to be right for me. I'm way more fun to be around, way more willing to help, accepting, and more kind than ANY Christian I know. I grew up in a Baptist household.

I have several friends who are christian, but live a more relaxed and centered buddah lifestyle. Its about meditating, relaxing and just being. stare at a flower for a few minutes and you will feel more at peace. It isn't about being buddist, its about reconnecting to nature and to the earth in a world where we are so disconnected to everything. We live indoors with air conditioners, eatting nutritionally stripped foods staring at mind numbing tv and driving polluting cars...and we wonder why we are not happy. Good luck to you, and God really does love you, no matter what religion you find him/her in.

I'm Catholic, but I want to convert to a Buddist. But I don't want to set my self to a specific religion because I want to explore other religions. I say, as long as they don't convince me to kill people or rape or do bad things. Then I'm open to almost every religion. :)

I left christianity 9 years ago and I've never felt better. You need to find what works for you. Explore everything. If christianity is right for you, you'll come back to it. If it's not, you'll find something better. I found Paganism and it's the right path for me. Find what works for you.
