It is very hard to hear these things when you are a child. No parent or guardian should EVER speak to a child like this. It is a VERY hard thing to forget and get past. It takes a toll on your self esteem. You have to find a way to get past it, remember you are valuable...you matter! You MUST learn to love yourself! If this person is still saying these terrible things to you, then it is time to remove them from your life.

HAve you trued counseling? I am so sorry to hear that you were told those awful things. sometimes writing a letter to the person will help even if you never give it to them. Just to let those feelings out. Good Luck

Suck's when a parent say's thing's like that, my dad always told me the best part of me ran down my mom's leg, now he can't understand why I don't visit them, or help them more in their old age, guess that's the part that ran down her leg.
