I feel the same way! Men used to be MEN for crying out loud! Not little wussy babies that cry over every little thing! Men used to WANT their women to stay home and raise the family and take care of the house and husband. Now it's almost like a SHAME to stay home and be a wife! The way some people act it makes me feel like I'm sub normal for wanting to cook and clean and make foods I knoe my husband loves. What's so bad about that? I would have done very well with the men in the 50's. I'm a little fun and wild but I love my family, I love to cook for them and I keep a nice clean home! I have degrees. I used to run a business for years. I'm not stupid.. I just love the home body family life!

Actually, I think it started after the boomers came home. Gen X and all later generations have had too soft a life, no chores, too much political correctness...its no wonder young men today are not real men like their grand-dads.

^ I wouldn't say gen x. Now gen y for sure. I'm gen x and I have worked since I was 10. We never had AC in the house (even to this day). We never had cable tv, I would spend my summers painting the house, mowing the lawn, taking out the trash, delivering my newspapers etc. I bought my first car for $200 because thats all I could afford. Our entertainment was fishing because it was free. Now the kids today, those emo kids, are terrible examples of people.

This emo wussy crap is definitely a new thing. You don't see too many emo pansies over 30. The youth of today is scary to an extreme extent. Most of them don't care if they are with a male or female, who ever gets em' off faster. They are not even gay really, just lazy and don't want to work at anything. My sisters BF is a prime example, he's like a wet sock in the wind. My hubby wants to pummel him into the ground every time we see him.
