The recession is a set-up to make the elite even wealthier. Their tactics, while not widely understood for obvious reason, need to be opposed. On the other hand, let them greedy grab bag much as they can. In the end, that's the stuff rebellions are born of. The only reason it's gone on this long is a middle-class analogous to house slaves and secure hiding spots for the elite.

How did this post become a debate on immigration? They are not the ones to blame for the economy. I think most citizens of this country are not happy (to say the least) about the illegals, but nothing will be done to get rid of them. Too many companies here rely on their cheap labor....and those companies have too much influence in politics. It's a bad situation, but nothing will be done about it.

This became a debate about immigration because like the poster said we need to man up and these insecure lazy punks don't know how to take responsability and "man up" all they know how to do is whine about Mexicans. I mean Mexicans "taking" thier jobs seriously you know if any of these poster worked and pulled their weight they would have nothing to worry about. But the fact is they are lazy and can't hold down a job so they blame "the Mexcians" Work ethic and dependability are the 2 most valuable assets that employers are looking for and the younger generation of americans sadly lack that. My grandfather says that back in his day white people used to work hard like the mexicans do today. We used to not be afraid to break a sweat to earn our keep. Plus people used to save to buy what they want now its all about credit card and having things handed to us. Instant gratification. My grandpa saved for over a year to buy his first car and he took care of it and he still has that same car in great condition today 57 years later. Its about knowing how to work hard and realizing the value of a dollar.
