"real" mom comes in so many ways. You dont have to birth a child to be a mom! It sounds like they are just jealous.. i have two kids, trust me i kinda wish it had only been one! one fits into your life so easy and you can devote all your time to that ONE child! No fighting over you ect.. just be the best mom you can be and ignore the rest!

Don't listen to those people. It is loving your kid that makes you a parent. No one can change that, no matter what they say. I have two kids, love them both, but I wasn't less a parent when I had one. Tell to piss off and just be happy. If you decide to have another, do you really think that will change what they think? Just be you, and love the kiddo you have.

I would imagine that these other moms have 2 and 3 kids. There are Mormon families who have 7-10 kids who think they aren't "real". I wouldn't let them get under your skin. Just love and care for your child. You don't owe anyone else an explanation.

i am having one and i think this will be our first and last! i loved my siblings but the selfish adult in me knows that one child will be less stressful and more enjoyable which fits into our lifestyle better :) honestly love the one you have and stop worrying about it!

Be proud of your child and be proud of yourself for giving him/her everything you have.. If anything you are able to give your child more love and attention and he/she doesn't have to feel second to all the other kids..
