I always appear to be happy and there for everyone else putting them first. But I feel alone because I'm afraid of loosing them if I say who I truly am. Im gay.

Have faith, some you'll lose others you won't. Just don't push your sexuality on anyone, especially those who aren't your persuasion.

I stayed in the closet for over 30 years. Coming out was inevitable. As it turned out for me, everyone was either not too surprised or very accepting. I have not lost anyone that cared about me, or that I cared about. Come out. Honestly is the only way live with yourself. Fear is the killer.

Yes you are. Nothing wrong with homosexuality, just quit being gay.

Your fear is greater than their reaction will be.

Oh come on, everyone is gay now adays. Seriously, it's not even a shock anymore. Anyway, if they are truly your friend they'll accept you as you are, if not they weren't your friends in the first place. By the way I have some hot gay friends...

you need to be yourself. you'll never be happy until you do. Its better to know who your real friends are anyways.

That's just crap. I know very few people who would not like you because you are gay. Everybody is not liked because of something.

Me too, my dad would disown me.

Hey, you just pulled yourself out of the gene-pool. Thanks. I will pass on my superior straight gene and yours will die in a dark, stinky place. Thanks man. My kids will probably all turn out gay just for saying that...

I'm female, and I want you.I want gay men,but anyway the truth is,most people who love you probably already know,or suspect your gay or bi,and no one will be too surprised, maybe some women in your life will be disappointed, but will still be your friend.Gay men are so hot,it really is unfair.

Do you LIKE being friends with bigots? If anyone drops you after this, not only were they never your friend, you should be ashamed that you currently think of bigots like them as friends. Is it just your friends you're afraid to lose? One of the greatest of human stupidities is that we care about the opinion of people we don't care about. Don't make that mistake. Set a date in your calendar for when you're going to tell your closest friend. Then a date for the next closest. Discover that the world didn't end, and you are much happier. Continue the process till you have ended the fear and dishonesty.

What's the problem? come out of the closet already and be yourself. You only have one life! Who cares anymore; enough already !

Just be yourself and the people worth having in your life will accept you. However, your sexuality is just a part of who you are, and is meant to be private. There is no need to announce it to the world. I've never understood why many homosexual people feel the need to "come out"? Your sex life is your own business, so keep it to yourself. I don't feel the need to run around telling the people I love that 'I'm straight and sleep with men'. Our society has just become too obsessed with sex and no one keeps anything private anymore. It's kind of annoying. Anyways, I'm stepping down from my box now. : ) take care and God bless your journey.
