I am at that point too. I have been for a while now. Funny thing is I saved him so I would want to live... now... I am still only here because he is. When he dies? Guess I won't be at work anymore. So what.

I like the first comment. Everyone seems to disagree with it but I think its true. I mean get serious. But lifes hard and if dogs make you happy just get a bunch of dogs and then you will never be bored and thoughts like this will never even enter your mind

Animal Haters!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen you stupid f***, just because someone says a Dog is an animal you turn them into Animal Haters. Your the kind of people I hate. I love my dog. My dog loves me. But if my dog went somewhere else to live he would be just fine and might miss the dog food I give em and the way I scratch his neck. But that dog isn't going to give a care about me emotionally. If you live long enough on our planet, you are going to have quite a few pets whose lives will end before yours. It doesn't mean you love them or miss them any less; but, get a new one. Start from scratch with a puppy or kitten from the pound. You can save their life, and maybe they will save yours.

im getting depressed seeing you people argue about pets. this person is crying out and you talk about the dog. you cant give up and die because it sounds like you havent truely lived.you must try to help someone who realy needs it. volunteer at a shelter, with homeless, there are people out there that need you and its up to you to find them. dont give up its permanent.
