I tried to expose a corrupt cop. All I accomplished was having him frame me for a crime I didn't commit. Now despite my edu. & ability, I'll never be an atty.

Make more noise about it and people will hear you. Stay tough if you believe you are right and just.

the odds are against you...sorry to say. i had the same thing happen to me when i tried to expose a preacher in my town for being a pervert....i lost my business because of it. $50,000 later i kinda wish i would have just kept my mouth shut :/ sometimes doing the right things comes at great costs.....use it as a life lesson if nothing else!

I am an attorney, one thing I have learned is that justice seldom happens. It never happens if good people don't fight, but don't count on winning. It sucks, but it is true. I hope it works out for you, but try to take comfort in having done the right thing to the best of your ability. Maybe God gives rewards for that in the afterlife.

Drop a dime on him to the Feds. Then leave the state and change your name. If you do get him fired for being corrupt, what's to stop him from cranking this up a notch. Now remember, if there's no body, there's no murder. Am pretty sure the cop knows this already.

It's true, justice is a rare. If I were you, I would write a book and expose the corruption. It might help bring attention to the injustice system and make you feel better at the same time.

I'll never be an attorney either. Who in their right mind could defend someone ($) who is obviously GUILTY?

If you were going to be a good attorney, you would have taken the standard legal advice given in these circumstances, which is just walk away. So, no loss that you are not going to be an attorney.

Standard legal advice is not always the right legal advice.

yeah the legal system is messed up. Cops no longer seek the truth, they come up with a theory then build a case around it. Lawyers just want money not justice. I went down for a crime I didn't do,5years. But I still suffer finding a real job. I'll be homeless soon but I wished I had fought harder. There is no second chance in America anymore.

It's who you know, or who you blow around here.

I wonder how many defense attorneys feel great about their prowess in the courtroom when some bastard they got off the hook, commits a worse crime down the road, when they should've been behind bars, under lock and key?

You know not EVERY person in court is guilty sometimes those lawyers are needed because the person didn't commit the crime they are accused of. Hey it happens.

Cops are in an exclusive club these days, they can do no wrong, shoot, tazer, beat, whatever. Hypocrites write us tickets, but when they do the same thing, they just flash their badge and drive away. They act so smug and self-righteous, but they're no better than anyone else, and in many cases they are much worse.

It's true that cops abuse power and place false charges on us innocent people. I had this happen to me. We can't do much but to pray for God's help and know future justice will come. We need to fight our case well if we can afford to. The desire not to respect police is natural these days. They are not better than the citizens who pay their saleries. There are probably many legal ways to harass them. Try vomiting on a cop in a bank close to a video camera and apologies stupidly. Try to select the correct cop for this task. Sorry, I couldn't stomach your looks!
