LOL Are you new to marriage? I really don't mind doing everything if my husband is the one to work and pay the bills. I enjoy the old fashioned life style. I read a book on "BURNOUT". This happens when you continually for a long period of time do good things for others...they come to expect it.....and they take you for granted. Eventually most BURNOUT and lose all feelings and stop caring......This more often that not equals divorce.

Burnout happens in relationships, at work, at church, with anyone who you continually do and do and do for......and go unacknowledged.It's amazing how much just a few nice words, or a card, or an email means when we say thank you and ACKNOWLEDGE a person. It doesn't take much to make a difference, it's all in ones attitude and thankfulness for kindness.

What's the deal with all the mean comments on this post? Geesh. Anyways, I don't think men, even good ones, understand how much work there is to be done around the house, and how draining it can really be. I think most married woman wish that their husbands would acknowledge their efforts more often.
