Wrong. Power attracts the corruptible. Corruptible people do not seek knowledge they seek wealth and power. Knowledge is being able to figure out what is best for you as an individual in a world ruled by corrupt people.

in spite of what the PHD's think....knowledge doesnt mean smart...it means you went to school and learned a lot about a little. I/E discovering DNA, but can't tie your own shoes.IQ makes you smart, and that cant be taught anywhere !

Yes and no. Knowledge is power and every human being has the birth right of attaining the knowledge they seek. It's when certain people decide that others are not fit for knowledge and hoard it and keep it in secrecy is when corruption occurs. There is a difference between self empowerment and power and control over others.

The old adage about power corrupting was taken out of context. It is not power that corrupts, but positions of domination over other people. If "all power leads to corruption," then we would necessarily all be corrupt, for it takes power to feed yourself. It takes a lot of power nowadays to feed yourself well.
