  | 1951: And I strategically glued a quarter to the sidewalk in view of my front window so I could take front and rear end shots of hotties who tried in vane to pick it up.

  | When I was about 12, I found a lot of change in a phone booth. My sister and I always checked this phone booth while we walked to the corner store. I remember how excited we both got and how we raced up to the store to spend the extra money,

  | cute stories!!--when my folks visited from NY to CA, my Dad found a $10 on the floor of a store--he's extremely honest, and he looked around, but no one was anywhere nearby, so I suggested he keep it.Later we went to Pebble Beach (17 mile drive) and he found a $20 in the parking lot!!! I KNEW it was one I had just dropped, but he was so excited about his double good luck that I had to congratulate him (and NEVER tell him!)One of my boyfriends would drop change around his Mom's house, where she would be likely to find it--cute!

  | I love your post. When my son was 24 and absolutely broke on Christmas Eve, he found a hundred dollar bill laying on the floor in a store. He said he picked it up and looked around holding it seeing if anyone was looking for it....but no one came forward. When he told me the story, I thought then....someone probably placed it there. Anyway, my son was so happy that he could buy everyone a present that Christmas. I was just thinking the other day that when my finances are better, I think I'll do that some Christmas Eve....but probably something smaller than a hundred. But I can start leaving my change in soda machines, phones, etc.... We never know how it could help someone or give them a big smile. And it always feels good to give.
