I used to feel the same about my MIL ( not that I would ever consider pushing her down stairs) but then I realized I needed to be better with my boundaries with her. Now it's completely different and she is respectful and even useful sometimes and I appreciate her in my life. See how a different perspective can change so much?

Even though I know it is not a healthy outlook, and I am not proud of it...I AGREE I AGREE I AGREE.......HOLY SHIT DO I AGREE. MINE WILL GO FARRRR OUT OF HER WAY TO GET ATTENTION...I DO MY BEST TO GET MY HUBBY TO PAY HER ATTENTION..MOSTLY BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH WHATEVER SHE WILL COME UP WITH NEXT TO GET ATTENTION..BUT HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE AROUND HER EITHER!!!
