Thanks everybody for the helpful comments, even the assholes- laughter can be the best medicine for this kind of thing. And no, I've never performed sexual acts in exchange for dope or money.
What I did not add to the secret was that I voluntarily chose to come to this town for the explicit purpose of kicking the habit, and it is working; isolation from your poison can be one of the best cures, especially around a supportive group of friends.
Another secret, however: I just came out of a detox/treatment program, and left on the same day with my roommate to go get a big fat shot of raw. Boy, I say that that is better than orgasm. And I didn't even have to suck sausage to do it!

Also, by the way, pictured is one of my best friends, and fellow users- NOT ME- who was not so lucky so as to have escaped this vicious habit. I left her behind in Chicago. Godspeed to her; hopefully by now she has admitted herself into program she had always been looking at.
