Im the OP- we both make over 100k a year. No desperation on either side. And both of us have been single for over 4 years. We've never moved this fast with anyone before. We both knew what worked and didnt work for us...and found it in each other. I've had over 60 dates with other men over the past 4 years. You really do know when you meet the right one. After we met...found out he is the cousin of my best friend from high school. (And I remembered him from 25 years ago) I think that helped too!

60 dates, damn. You must be a loose goose.

Stay happy and in love!!

^^^You are assuming the OP is a woman. The picture is of two men. (in fact you are doing a lot of assuming)

Not enough time, do you even know boyfriend's middle name!?
Remove this stupid comment

Five weeks...that's an awfully short amount of time to know someone before moving in with them. Just be careful.

you learn a WHOLE lot about someone when you move in with them. a whole LOT more then you would EVER learn about them living seperately. And so what if it doesn't work, move on. *laughs* and i understand completly about the *they'd freak thing*. *I'm 50 years old, and my mother would go insane over it!!!! STAY happy and healthy and DONT worry about what others THINK/say.

I bought a house after being with my girlfriend for three months. Many factors led to that decision but it was the right one. That was five years ago and we are celebrating our 3 year anniversary next month. And to the idiot who posted about gramatical errors...the world will be a better place when you are dead and gone you rotten piece of fish guts! Harsh, I know, but you really piss us off.

I'm the OP. Thanks for all great comments! The picture is correct in that we are a male couple. My post is just saying we know how our family and friends will react based on past experience. We are happy and will share as it comes up. As for "Fish Guts" you are a damn miserable person to write that kind of poison.

Male couple??? That's just nasty.

News flash: hetro couples gross out gay couples.

You are in your 40's. So am I, and single. I'd move in in 3 weeks. Congratulations.

Don't worry about it. When you think of how much time we spend being miserable in our lives... well have fun and ignore what anyone might say.

Hey, jerk with the loose goose comment... she said date! Why the hell does everyone automaticly expect sex as soon as you meet anymore? A date is a date. You know dinner and conversation?!

ok ok ok. What do we have here? I thought we were sharing secrets not being educated in punctuation, ect. The people complaining here had better be teachers. Also, I work with business owners regularly, none of them seem to be able to spell... or punctuate.... or maybe they are just busy!

Just keep your money seperate until you get to know him better. More power to you that you found a happy relationship. Stop caring what other people think! Good luck to you.

OP here. So far so good! He's the love of my life. Who knew?

Let your friends and family "freak" - it's your life, not theirs! Good luck and G-d bless!
