I hate Wal-Mart. I would rather go out of my way (and pay more) to shop somewhere ELSE! I don't have money to burn (quite the opposite), but my time and dignity are more important than saving a few extra dollars. On the rare occasion that I do shop @ WM, I almost always leave in a bad mood, due to someone's ignorance/rude behavior. They do not understand the concept of CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Cont'd from above... Once, I had an oil change at Wal-Mart. I returned home, and found an extremely rude message on my phone from the Automotive Manager. She was yelling at me, INSISTING that I hadn't paid for my oil change! Because I was furious w/ the whole accusation, I returned w/ my paid receipt. I demanded to speak w/ the General Manager. They refused, said he 'wasn't available' ...and they never even said "SORRY" ...whatEVER! I am done w/ those idiots!!!

I only steal from Walmart when they don't do they're job and check my cart for big stuff... I even told the cashier one time that I had stuff in my cart but she was too busy flirting with her relief to hear me... Diapers are expensive so I'm not gonna go out of my way to pay for something I can get for free.... Oh and my friend steals cloths from Walmart... I was gonna, but getting caught for stealing, especially from Walmart, isn't something worth getting arrested for....

I live in Bentonville Arkansas, the world headquarters for Wal-mart. As long as you don't do it too often or go overboard with it you can eat food off the shelves and never pay for it. They are told not to stop you. Also, if you get your prescriptions filled there, just tell them you'll pay for it up front and walk out. They're told not to stop you for that either.HAVE FUN BOYS AND GIRLS

I'm the OP: ok heres the deal. I do NOT think it's right to steal just for the benefit of stealing (greed). I feel if it is justified in a legit way, it can be right.(For example: a woman steals food for her starving child) I'm sorry, these are just my views, and it's true, I know you don't like to hear it but I do give to charity and the money I save from stealing from WM allow me to give much more then I normally could have.

Having worked for Walmart security, I would guess you've been caught but not apprehended due to the fact that, as employees of walwart, we hate the place too. We busted about 1 out of 10 people. We let the rest go!

I'm with the OP You all are getting so upset! Everything is priced so that we are the one's getting robbed in plain daylight! I wish people would get upset over things that matter like the atrocities of slaughterhouses and the gas chambers they still use in N.C. on puppies! Besides, Walmart stated publicly on the news that they wouldn't prosecute thafts under $20. Why don't they give me a $20 discount then when my bill is more than $100? My friend used to steal from walmart, big things like a crossbow and a BB gun. He has stolen over 5000$ worth of stuff and he just recently got caught. He got a month in jail and he can not follow his dream of being a corrections officer because he stole a 6$ bottle of hair dye.
