I feel the same as the poster above. My family life was not stable at all, my parents divorced when I was 12. But my maternal grandfather was always stable and always showed up out of the blue to help us out of snags. I am married now with my own family and my youngest son was born 3 years to the day after my grandfather died, I am so sad the never met, he would have loved him to death.
