Unless addictions or abuses are normal for your ex, why not get over this and act civil for the benefit of your poor child. Children know more than you think and your 'secret' may come out as hatred that will taint your own relationship with the kid. Be strong.

2 up, HELL YEAH! 1 up, screw that! But, the only thing I know for sure is that if you(OP) are the one your child lives w/ make sure you don't try to keep your child from the other parent. My ex has tried to do that so many times and my kids have seen it 1st hand. When the time comes, my kids have already chosen to have NOTHING TO DO with my ex because of it!
