We missed a lot of the great ones. Zep, Jimi, The Doors, The Beatles. I wonder what it was like to see them, too. Today's music does not even come close.

Me to, music today sucks. If I could go back I would go see his woodstock performance.... I've listened to it so many times, in so many states of mind, and it is just fantastic everytime.

I totally agree! I always say I would give 20 years of my life to be around in those days and live the life.

Saw Hendrix 3 times (front row each time). He, unfortunately, was not very good in his live performances. He was, though, fascinating and mysterious! The best guitarist while Jimi Hendrix was alive: Hendrix, himself, proclaimed Terry Kath of Chicago to hold that honor. No one, in my lifetime, has replicated what Kath could do. The sounds he coaxed out of the guitar were amazing. I saw him perform 5 times.

I saw Jimi play at Woodstock. Don't remember much though, I was pretty stoned.

I have always wished that I could have seen Jimi Hendrix, the doors, the beatles, and grateful dead. I have not yet seen a band that I think could compare

You didn't miss much. Vastly overrated. If he didn't die early he would have a "has been" the last 20 years or so. You saved your money -believe me !!!
