I hate to say it, but there may never come a day when he regrets it. You deserve better. But, remember, that a man who would leave you like that most likely isn't the kind of man to feel regret over it.

Yeah I hope it's a horrible relationship too. The worse possible outcome would be they have a great relationship and you are alone and bitter. best revenge is living well after all.
