Good Luck. My Dad still see's me as an outsider..I am 28 now He has 4 other "kids" he was always more concerned about. He said he knew I was alright because my mother took care of me....little did he know she was also preocuppied with her three new kids. Now I have 3 kids and I am to preoccupied to talk to them.

I have five children. two froma former marriage. My second child was born during the divorse. She got shafted emotionally by the negative of her parents. Today she is 26 years old. But she still hurts because of the separation from me at her young age. I was not blameless in this. I think about this almost daily and try to make it up to her. But I know I can't.

I say Good Luck too.. My dad did the same thing, as the child I didn't feel like it was my responsibility to call him, he was the adult dammit!!.. He finally apologized, on his death bed. I never forgave him 100%.
