| i was with someone for a long time and towards the last 2 years i was only wiht him because i was scared that i couldnt make it on my own. well i left him and i am doing just fine and a lot happier now that im not living a lie. dont make yourself miserable, grow some self esteem and realize you dont need him to survive. your life is what you make of it.

  | I feel the same way with my marriage, but we have little children, which makes it harder to leave. Maybe when the kids are older I can do it on my own...?

  | I left my husband after 11 years. It was the best thing I have ever done. I didn't know either, but you will survive.. (gloria says so)

  | I was with a ass of a man for ten years . We had two small boys when I left him.My breaking point was when he threw a brick into my windshield while one Baby was in the truck with me. It is a hard thing to do bug so worth it. I thought I could not survive with out him. I was a stay at home mother. I always thought that no one else would ever want me. I didn't like myself because of all the things he said I was. I have now been away from him for 8 years . I have been married to the most wonderful man in the world for 6 years now . He took my kids in as if they were his own. No one deserves to be in a relationship where there is not love. You can make it with out the person you are with . I did and my kids and I are so happy now. I only wish I would have left sooner. Good luck to you and be strong :)
